Levin residents Mark and Lisa Gallagher are urging people to vaccinate themselves against Meningococcal C after their daughter, Tesh, died in 2012 from the disease just five hours after contracting Meningococcal C. The Gallaghers are sharing their own horrific experience to raise awareness the Meningococcal is a fast-acting, deadly disease and that vaccination is available for the C strain.
